Star Trek Online was my goto for stuff like that. It's pretty easy if you just follow the normal campaign, and you can watch or listen to anything in the background because you don't need to pay too much attention to the story in that game. However, when I get a chance to play a game, like on Steam, then it has my full attention. I've been playing The Long Dark and it requires a lot of effort just to stay alive on the hard mode(s). Though you could theoretically stand your character in game (inside a dwelling) and do nothing and just not die. That would be boring and pointless and what's the use of playing a game like that? Anyway, there is another MMORPG game that I play sometimes and it's sorta afkable - with combat and some skilling. If I wanted to afk a game, then that's the one that I would go to. Once I've finished my freelance work I'll then start to watch a film on Netflix or watch some TV and in the background.
