Demon_skeith 28
How quickly do you tend to buy a new game? Do you buy it right away or wait for a price drop?
Belthazar 0
I pretty rarely buy games at first sight anymore. Especially for consoles, the price normally goes around $70, which is insane. If you can wait six months, your price will generally drop substantially. Generally, a $70 game will only be priced around $40 if you can wait a few months. I just personally don't "have to have" the game enough to spend $30 to get it six months early.
Demon_skeith 28
Games aren't $70 yet, but they are pretty close.
thebestofthebest 9
Generally, I wait for a game to go on a huge price drop before I will buy it as buying games at full price means I are not taking any advantage of the extra competition that comes with all the different digital store fronts you see on PC. jy76 1
A lot of times the prices never drop. For instance, Super Mario Maker is still priced around 60 USD - as it always was. In that case, you would have to accept the fact you're going to pay full-price or opt to get a used copy. Note, getting a used copy is the solution for most people probably. It's way too expensive to buy a game when it first comes out. I wait awhile to see the price drop before I buy a game.
