Hello, it's been almost three years since I posted the last community announcements back in February of 2016 It's now near the end of 2019 and the beginning of the new year of 2020. Here on BaysideGamers for the past year, we had our ups and downs and wouldn't even think that our community is going to survive the year but it has shocked me. I just had such amazing members that keep us alive. I like to apologies for any inconvenience in not keeping tabs and updates to you guys regards any new features or in many cases just about anything, I tend to do it and say nothing lol. Awards If you haven't noticed already that we have awards running full steam ahead. We have mentioned in the last update that here on bayside we offer our members awards, provides administrators and or staff (Under management controls) the ability to award our members with badges that show in your profile and on your posts. Our systems automatically give you an award of when you have achieved your record as well it gives the ability to do give out special awards. We also mention in the past that it's membership groups only, however (Good news to all) we have decided to allow it for everyone in any group, and those that are subscribed in the VIP group will get something special. We moved away from the old Iawards plugin to an easy to use trophies and medals and yes we changed the name. Lastly, we will be added awards and improving it over time and if you think that you are missing an award(s) then please pm one of the staff members. Theme I had good positive results for the bayside magnum theme, and we aren't going to be changing or no plans other than keeping the current theme by updating or just improving it over time. I would like suggestions on our background images as we will be updated to different images as the year goes on. Plus we still have a secondary light theme for those that aren't into the dark based theme. Staffing As of today we still have the same amount of staff but that being said we are down to one single person, and since we aren't that big or active there is no reason to keep the staff to a minimum. Any questions/support goes directly to me (Chief/Empire) and I will get back to you when I can. I like to keep most things public for the members to know about things rather than staff behind the screen. Membership We used to have a membership with three tiers with different options in those groups, We have changed it to one single group with all futures and options into one place. Members can now able to subscribe to monthly or yearly bases that will upgrade your accounts, We also added new and more options to the VIP groups. No more three tires accounts, just down to one. That easy. So that's it, I think? if you think that I might miss something out then just comment below and I just say it. I haven't made an update in quite some time, And most of you guys are wounding if we are still going and that being said we are still holding. We have added an new theme "Bayside Magnum" it's an dark based theme for those that want to be on the dark side. Design by the same guy with a little nice touch. It's simple to change, scroll down to the bottom of the page. We also added Group Collaboration system that is design for members of your community are able to form their own groups, ranks, memberships and micro communities within the fold of your whole community. It's been added some months ago but as it hasn't been mention Well that's all I can think of at the moment. I tend to keep this small. IS there anything that you guys like to say please feel free to post here and also if you have an idea make an topic about it and we can go from there

Finally I have big announcements for the community, but firstly I wanted to say happy new year for the upcoming excitement year of 2016, here on Bayside Gamers like to apologize for not able to send out Christmas email wishes to you folks, our newsletter system is down and we are working on fixing the problems however the deeper we get into it the more we find. The community grown extremely since the last community update back in October, and I like to welcome the new StumbleUpon members that recently joined a wounder gaming community with respectful members that I greatly appreciated. Theme You probably already known that Bayside has now got a brand new dark theme set as default as a our main. The light theme (uniform) is still available to pick and choice. The exclusive theme is actually name as carbon, carbon is a dark responsiveness theme that has up two six background image picker, that option is available for our members only, so if your a guest reading this then in term please sign up today and check it out while on the same subject that carbon has one small little error that's still being worked on regarding users on mobile and tablets device's, carbon is absolutely responsiveness however the navigation bar is coursing the website to freeze once the page has loaded, I'm only typically typing for those that users windows phone devices, other than that it's working full steam ahead. Advertisement/affiliations Bayside Gamers is a very powerful way to advertise your community or any other websites, in this announcement that I'm pleased to say we have fully improved and upgraded our system. Advertising is now allot easier for members/clients and for the community staff, it's a formulated system that once you submitted your advert banner, it's running in a few seconds. Just keep in mind that please read carefully before submitted because same are renewable and others aren't, other wards you be billed every month (depending upon your choosing) for keeping it running, the system however will stop showing your ads after the three day has passed if you haven't paid. Bayside Gamers recently had an attack on our community that involved the administration control panel to be disabled. We the team of Bayside apologies for any inconvenience that may have caused, however we are damn lucky that we haven't lost any of our database, plus our custom coding is keeped in one piece (we do backups). While I thought the problem was fixed, Had to install fresh files and upload our plugins again to make shore that it hasn't gone anywhere else. Our database had not downloaded and installed the updates (4.1.6) that made the website to act funny and doing weird things (mind of it's own) that I haven't seen before, yet taken me hours to find out with the help from IPS support team. For the past week it has been stressful and none going stop, had to fix an list that goes on and on. I'm pretty upset and still am, however I can sleep better at nights now We are improving our security, however we need your help by donating to keep the site safe from no life hackers.
