Do you make use of a VPN to encrypt your internet traffic? If so, what is your VPN of choice?

For me, personally, I use OpenVPN through an AWS instance, but I'm going to go back to PIA/Private Internet Access when I can afford to. Had to stop because my funding is limited, and while OpenVPN works just fine for what it is, I prefer a less bodged-together approach to VPN.

I personally cannot get it unless if i can find some work around since my PC is a 6 gen CPU which i'm surprised it didn't meet the requirements because its still a very good computer and it does the job perfectly fine but i'm interested to see what everyone else's thoughts are!

I have this common habit of being too attached to my older smartphone. This makes it very difficult for me to move on from the phones and give them away when I'm upgrading to new one's.

I always have them boxed and kept. Most of them should still be in good working condition because the last time I checked on my old Nokia 3310, it still works very well.

My brother usually sell off his old phone the moment he buys a new one but I can't see myself doing that.

What operating system do you currently use for your devices? Are you happy with it? Would you like to get rid of it?

Personally, I use iOS on my iPhone and iPad. My PC runs on Windows 10 and my iMac 21.5-inch runs on OS C El Capitan. I cannot put up with Android issues. I used to own a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it was really inconvenient. Android is not easy to use and it just makes my life much more difficult.

Say for example there was a blackout and all access to the internet went out for a week - what would you do and would you cope?

I had to imagine what would happen in this situation especially with those who are constantly glued to technology which is over half the world.

I would hate it as this is how I communicate with everyone and if all access to the internet went out for a week people might think I died or something.

I have to get some ideas and hopefully others can help me out. I have an event happening in an old building from the mid-1900s and there are heavy cinderblock walls. The problem with those type of walls is getting wifi in the event room because the router is in another room that won't hold all the people. How do you feel if you forget your cell phone & leave it somewhere?

I don’t believe in cells & my husband’s is only for emergencies so it wouldn’t bother me. However, if it was the only phone we had, I would feel bad for the simple fact I couldn’t get a hold of others & they couldn’t get a hold of me.

My Anti-Virus is due to expire in 21 days time. I have Norton Security Standard, should I renew or look for an alternative? What would everyone here recommend and why? If anyone here uses Malwarebytes, please could leave a short review about your experience with the service as I'm considering this Anti-Malware/Virus program.
