Orbx EU Netherlands TrueEarth P3DV4 Launch Trailer

Orbx has been teasing us with preview content on their latest technology, TrueEarth, for a little while now. From the initial alpha stages right up until Jarrad’s massive preview post, we have been really excited to see what this will do for the simulator.

 

It would appear that the release of the product is now pretty close as John has released the official launch trailer for Orbx EU Netherlands TrueEarth.

 

Produced by Jeroen Doorman, the 4 minute video shows off the seasonal variation, the custom objects inserted and of course how clear the photoreal texture work is.

John confirmed that they’re in final testing now and release should be right around the corner.

Fantastic !  will be a joy to fly in via VFR and over in IFR. This virtual representation has come again closer to the thrill of flying in reality. Transition day -> night is great.

One small remark: during the whole movie, not a single airport and airfield is shown, that's a pitty, also still an open question: compatibility with addon airport-sceneries?
