Fire Emblem, has anyone played it?

Is anyone a Fire Emblem fan? I've been playing it for at least 15-20 years. It's a super awesome fantasy SRPG franchise by Nintendo that I have on the GBA, my phone and the Wii. I've also played the one on the GameCube "Path of Radiance" a bit at a friend's house as a kid. But she's also eventually moved away, thence why I've had to stop without completing the game. My favorite is "Fire Emblem, Sacred Stone" on the GBA. Gameplay and sound effects are all perfectly stunning.

Been a fan of it for some years now, though I've enjoyed three houses it didn't really feel like fire emblem. Needs less school and more war scenarios.

I'd say it's worth getting and it is a long gameplay, though most of it is repeats, it's on the Nintendo Switch.

I've played in the past. It reminds me a lot of the Final Fantasy games. I liked FF but I'm not sure if Fire Emblem is for me though. I have yet to try the one.

I'm more a Fire Emblem fan because the gameplay is far more superior impo and FF isn't as good as FE, especially the one on the GBA and mobile.

Fair warning, this game won't hold up as well as the mobile games or even as good as the one that was on the Gamecube.

I’ve never really liked FF at all, but to each their own I guess. I’ve tried FFIV, V and tactics and I myself still prefer FE for me personally. I’d always lose interest halfway through the game for FF though.

FF was alright to play to begin with but it does get generally boring as you say, i agree!

Yeah agreed, FF is quite boring after awhile and it has no story or characters development at all even towards the end impo. Just endless fighting.

umm what? All FF games have character development, and both FF and FE have endless fighting really.

TBH it's more about the fact that it's OVERLY busy that puts me off. Some of the animations are too over the top!
