2TonWaffle 1 Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 With all of the layoffs that are occurring throughout the tech and gaming sector, what will we see from the consumer side of things? For games that are currently slated for release in the first part of this year, I don't foresee much change happening as most if not all of the work has been completed on them. The one thing I do worry about is any releases in the later part of the year. Those projects will probably be delayed further as the work staff will be halved and the workload doubled. What are your thoughts on how this might effect the game industry as a whole?
Ja sa bong 2 Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 These layoffs started last year 2023 with so much force and I'm surprised it also continued till this year. Games will most likely be delayed from companies where majority of the staffs working in the game's development team are laid off.
