Sam 0 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 What would you consider the rudest place to use a cellphone? What's the rudest place you've ever seen someone on their cellphone? My Dad always used to embarrass me by accepting calls at the doctors practice or while we were talking to a salesperson in a store but I've never seen someone use a cellphone anywhere dreadful.
Demon_skeith 28 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I say when talking to people like at a cash register or some place very public.
Reverie 5 Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 In Lines - it gets a bit annoying when people just suddenly get a call right in front of you and they are talking very loudly.

Demon_skeith 28 Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Yeah, some people specially the old people have their speakers on high so that anyone can hear it. Very annoying.
Nebulous 2 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 When purchasing items and the cashier is trying to talk to you while you're on the phone. Seen it so many times *smh*

ZandraJoi 1 Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 To me, anytime you are in public or with another person like for a dinner, it's rude to have your phone on. Emergencies are one thing but what constitutes an emergency is a different definition for most people. My definition is if someone is in the hospital dying. Another's definition may be waiting to hear about their new gadget that just came in. Too many people view tech as an appendage of their own body. I wish more & more would learn to unplug & just Live in the moment.
Sharon 1 Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 I've never actually witnessed it myself but I think it would be extremely rude if someone were to take a phone call during church or a funeral service.
DudeThatsErin 3 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 I think everyone here covered it. I'm not going to say anything different but church, funeral service, dinner with a date or family, or in a work meeting. Programmer. Forum Owner. Wife. Cat Mom. https://dudethatserin.com
