Have you looked at Second Life?  You can "create" content for it and sell it on their marketplace for real money.  It's not really a game tho, more of just a huge on-line sandbox where you can create almost anything.

MU and Ragnarok is still out there, you can also meet hardcore gamers there and try to sell your items to them.
