Golddisk 3 Posted March 30, 2018 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Has anyone gotten this game? It just came out about a week ago. I got it for the Xbox. The game puts you in the role of a pirate, and you can play solo or with a group of up to 4 people. There's 2 different ship sizes depending on your group size. The goal of the game is to level up your pirate's reputation with the 3 factions in the game, earn gold, and battle other pirates. It is interesting and fun, but I do feel as there is a bit of lack of depth, especially for a game that costs $60. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NearWinter 1 Posted June 2, 2018 Share Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) I watched a game review on Sea of Thieves by IGN (you can view it here), and your concerns are definitely acknowledged in the review, along with some other concerns. The game looks absolutely amazing graphics wise, the content is good (at first), then apparently it gets repetitive. I'd consider watching some more game reviews before purchasing it.
