From Oblivion to Skyrim was a mere 5 year wait. But we're now on the 10 year mark for Skyrim which debuted 11/11/11 doubling the time Skyrim took to release. To me it seems that they simply focused on milking Skyrim for every inch of money before even starting on development for the new ES, with this thought I kind of lost my hype for the new game.
