What age did you start playing video games?

When it comes to when I started playing video games, I didn't start playing too early because my parents didn't support playing video games for kids. They see it as a distraction but they were very wrong in my opinion now as an adult. I started playing video games at the age of 12 years.

I started playing video games at a really young age. I was 3 years old when I started playing video games and it was my dad who got me into gaming with a console that I for the life of me cannot remember the name of, but I remember it was cassette tapes you used for the games. After that me and my brothers were gifted a Sega Master System for Christmas and I absolutely love the built-in game for that which was Alex the Kidd. I have fond memories of playing Alex the Kidd with my cousin and beating the rock, paper, scissors when I was younger.

I get so jealous back then when I see my fellow kids whom their parents allow to play games and even support them like your Dad did. It was one of my uncle that even made my parents especially my mother to understand the situation why it's good to allow kids to play game because some games can be educational for kids. It's even why I was able to start playing at 12.
