Why do you like Halo better or worse than Call of Duty?

I'm curious as to why you guys like Halo better than Call of Duty or vice versa. Personally, I prefer CoD because of the graphics and I could never get into Halo myself.

Halo uses a far different combat engine than CoD. CoD has a lot more instant or near-instant kills than Halo, which makes it more frustrating for new players. Halo for a new player at least has more assists, and players live longer in combat, so for a new player you can still feel like you helped. Even new players usually damage enemies before they die. Call of Duty, you get shot and die before you can do anything to defend yourself. Which gives the enemy killing sprees, that they use to get super weapons tha they wreck your entire team with. CS:GO is even worse because you're dead until the end of the round when you die, so you sit idle for most of the game.

For someone who doesn't have extensive experience with shooters, Halo is the way to go.  I still prefer it, but if you like dying over and over without helping, go with CoD.

I would have to totally agree with you Empire! You have pointed out some factors to why halo different than cod.

I don't. I actually think Halo is worse than COD. Players use life looking weapons in Call of Duty and comparing to Halo, they are unrealistic.
