The radio stations have always been a great touch to GTA. What's your favorite station or stations in IV? I have to go with Liberty Rock Radio, I've always been a classic rock guy. And the hosts never fail to make me laugh

So everyone from my brother and friends are shocked that I have not played this game. I know it is one of the most popular games and what not. So I ask you all to convince me to play? What makes this game so awesome and why would someone enjoy playing it? Convince me to join the craze. Albeit a tad late

Anyone interested in something like this? It's a project I started a while ago, but never completely finished. Assuming I can even get GTA IV to work again.... would it be something enough people wanted for me to finish it?

This may not be the right section but its about gta iv so i thought to put it here. Anyways I have a friend that is trying to start up a ivmp server (well he has and he has scripted alot into it) but we both found that ELS doesnt work. How would he be able to have els work? Or would he have to script a whole new thing like els (for instance like a red flashing light that pops up in the dask bord or something) I think els could work because in samp elm works (yes i know they are different programs) but I just wanted to see what anyone though about it.

So, GTA IV recieved an update, going from 1.0.7.0 to 1.0.8.0. Script mods as far as I know are totally broken. Patch logs are to follow: Added error code "WTV270" to indicate a problem with connecting to Windows Live Sign in Assistant / Games for Windows Live Servers. Added Windows 8, 8.1, and 10 to compatible OS check. Added Display Controller image in Controller Configuration. Fixed a bug which made completing "Out of Commission" mission impossible when frame rate exceeds 60fps. Fixed a bug with the "Resource Usage" indicator on graphics cards with more than 2GB of VRAM. Fixed a bug that restricted settings changes when using modern video cards. Fixed a bug with the map crosshair on certain resolutions. Fixed a bug with text scrolling in "Brief" Menu. Fixed "drawlist overflow" crash. Minor performance optimizations. Here are some new LCPD related loading screens for GTA IV, got some inspiration from Custo and this is what I've got cooking so far: There's more but I don't want to post them all. There's some oversights like the white lines which I really don't feel like fixing 'cuz that'll take me like a couple of lightyears to do. Looking for overall input and suggestions, what do you think?
