Does anyone here still have an original Xbox? I got one for free a few years ago from one of my coworkers. She thought the console wasn't working, but it turns out the av cables were faulty. Best of all, it was already modded and had a few emulators on it! Though the mod itself is pretty old. It's also one of the later models that doesn't have the issue with the clock capacitor leaking so I'm luck in that regard too! I think it's worth getting an original Xbox since not every original Xbox game runs on the 360 let alone not everyone even has a 360.

I recently upgraded to using Xbox Elite 2 Controller and it feels so good using it. It's high time they get rid of the AAA batteries used in my former controller. Also, I like the textured grip this controller is designed.

What do you think about Elite Controller 2?

What are your favorite N64 games? For me you have some of the hunch as Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Super Mario 64. I also really liked Pilot Wings and Destruction Derby 64 which were a bit lesser known

With games releasing all the time, depending on the games you enjoy you could be picking up your next game very soon or it could be a while before you pick up another game yet.

As much as I will not be picking this game up but instead, waiting for it to release on Game Pass this week, I am waiting on Starfield so I guess that will be the next game I jump on at least for now.

What game are you planning on picking up next?

With all of the layoffs that are occurring throughout the tech and gaming sector, what will we see from the consumer side of things? For games that are currently slated for release in the first part of this year, I don't foresee much change happening as most if not all of the work has been completed on them. The one thing I do worry about is any releases in the later part of the year. Those projects will probably be delayed further as the work staff will be halved and the workload doubled. What are your thoughts on how this might effect the game industry as a whole?

Do you have a habit of having meals or munching some snacks like chips or drinking cold drinks while gaming? Or you don't like to do anything else while you game, that includes no eating as well.

Personally, I don't have habit of eating while gaming because I am a PC gamer + Indian. I eat mostly using with my hands so if I eat and play, my keyboard won't work anymore hehe.

If you are an Xbox player, you will know that there are options to either have a controller colour of your choice or you can even have a controller designed custom that you create yourself through Microsoft which is a great way to get a unique-looking controller.

I myself at the moment have the Shock Blue Official Xbox One Controller.

What colour is your Xbox controller at the moment?

To me there are a lot of truck simulator games that have the same type of feel. Aren't there any out there that are unique? Have you heard of any news of upcoming games to look forward to? I'd love to hear about it and especially so if it's different from the others.

If you are not aware, Microsoft and Xbox will be releasing a new console which is a Carbon Black Xbox Series S. Instead of having 500GB of storage, will have 1TB of storage for an extra £50 ($50) which is not bad at all.

My daughter and my eldest son have said they would like one each for Christmas this year so that is the plan.

Are you picking up the Carbon Black Xbox Series S when it releases? I believe the console is already out for purchase as it was rumoured to be released on the 1st of September.

If you are someone who is either a fan of Fortnite or just likes to follow the news regarding Fortnite, you may be aware by now that it has pretty much been confirmed by Fortnite and Epic that we will be going back to Fortnite Chapter 1 and the original Chapter 1 map from season 5 will be coming with that update on November 3rd, 2023.

As many will know, Fortnite has always been a game that is changing constantly through each chapter and season. Whether it be new skins in the item shop, a new battle pass for the new season or map changes in the game to keep things fresh, there is always something for Fortnite fans to be excited about.

Over the last few weeks, we have been seeing leaks and reports coming in regarding the return of Chapter 1 along with the original Fortnite map where we all started.

So far it would seem from the care packages that Fortnite content creators have been receiving, the old props from Chapter 1 appearing on the map at locations such as Frenzy Fields and also the location on Fortnite's official Twitter changing to July 18, 2018, and the addition of a time machine in-game with the same date, Fortnite fans will be getting their wish and we will get the original Chapter 1 map back.

As much as we will be getting the Chapter 1 map back from November 3rd, 2023, it would seem that we will only be getting the OG map for approximately 5 weeks before Chapter 4 Season 5 ends and we will be going straight into Chapter 5, making Chapter 4 Season 5 one of the shortest Fortnite seasons to date if that ends up being the case.

Something fans need to know when we do go back to Chapter 1 is that we will not be starting from Chapter 1 Season 1. We will instead be going back to Chapter 1 Season 5 which launched on July, 18th 2018 and throughout November we will be seeing seasons 5 - 10 (X) over the 5 weeks before the season ends.

So, what will cause Fortnite fans to go back in time to Chapter 1 Season 5?

The current season at the moment Chapter 1 Season 4 sees a time-machine on the map which as we stated above, shows the date 12th July 2018. The time machine seems to have broken at the point of Chapter 1 Season 5 and that is what will result in players going back in time to that chapter and season.

Of course, so far nothing has been announced by Epic Games regarding the original map returning and a lot of what we are hearing at the moment is from Fortnite leakers, the only indication Epic Games has given us so far is the change of their location to the specific date July 12th, 2018.

The current season Chapter 4 Season 4 is due to end on November, 3rd 2023 and we expect the game to go into downtime at 2 am EST (7 am Central Time) once the game goes down, we will not know anything else regarding Chapter 4 Season 5 until the game comes back up out of downtime.

Very exciting times for Fortnite fans and players!

I want to tell you all about this really cool indie game which is under development, it's called Sanctuary: Shattered Sun. If you're a fan of games like Supreme Commander or Total Annihilation, this will be right up your street. The creator of those games is a guy called Chris Taylor. He said Sanctuary is the 'spiritual successor' to Supreme Commander. Seriously high praise.

It is a real time strategy game set on a Dyson Sphere and three different factions duke it out. There will be strategic zoom and superweapons capable of shattering the map.

Here is the trailer. It looks fantastic!

Do you get rid of old games you find to be 'obsolete'? I try not to, but recently, due to storage & space constraints, I'm being forced to throw away my 360 and PS3 collections, I don't have a means of playing these anymore and  I doubt stores would give me much for them if anything at all, so i'm being forced to throwing out a bunch of 360 and PS3 titles.  Roughly 200 in total.

Which console has your favorite controller/game pad? For me, i'd say the Xbox Series X/Elite 2 is my favorite controller right now.  The Dualsense is nice and i'm curious to see how the Dualsense Pro will turn out but, I think Xbox makes the most comfortable game pads. I could be slightly biased as it's based off the Dreamcast's controller and that's my favorite console of all time, but, I digress

Which console do you think has the best controller?

Starfield is releasing for most on the 6th of September but for those who pre-ordered, they got access to the game from the 1st of September 2023.

I myself have looked into Starfield and it may be something that I try out when it releases and comes to Game Pass.

Have you played Starfield yet? What do you think of the game?

A roadmap has been leaked on a court document overnight that shows planned games from Bethesda from 2020 onwards.

Published online overnight, the list on the leaked court document shows what was part of an internal court document from Microsoft in July 2020 which shows their proposal to acquire ZeniMax Media which is Bethesda's parent company. This is an acquisition that was due to be announced two months later.

It seems the list is sourced from a ZeniMax presentation which lists numerous games and DLC for games planned up to the end of the financial year in 2024.
Games such as Ghostwire Tokyo, Starfield, Elder Scrolls 6 and the upcoming Indiana Jones game were listed within the leaked document.

Also seen on the list was Doom Year Zero which is the new Doom game. This game also seems to have plans to release DLC in the year of release as well as following the year of the release as well.

Another title that was seen on the list of games was Dishonoured 3 which has as of yet not been announced. This is a sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo.
We also see remasters on the list such as Fallout 3 and The Edler Scrolls: Oblivion.

Project Kestrel and Project Platinum are also on the list but we are not sure what these refer to at this time.

We should be fully aware though that it is very likely that the list that has been leaked is more than likely a list that was created before the COVID-19 Pandemic which would have affected the work on AAA games.

The forecast does go up to the year 2024 financial year, we are not quite there yet so it may be that most games listed will be ready and released after this.
Starfield was one game listed as being released by June 2021 and we know now that Starfield did not release until 2023 so that was almost a two-year delay.

It's also wise to understand that even though games were listed as being planned three years ago, plans do change and there could also be some games that may not have survived the list and others could have been cancelled being that this list was created in July 2020.

Either way, it is looking promising for games being released by Bethesda between now and the next few years and I am sure we will have more confirmation soon from Bethesda regarding the leaked list and more details on what we will still be seeing and games that are no longer in the planning.
